I can totally appreciate your comments! Having started one or two wordpress blog myself, I have found that many plugins are buggy and for a non-techic like me, I sometimes have to pay for repairs to site and remind myself to not upgrade the plugin when it is suggested.

I took a look at Quansite and even though I do not believe that it will save my blogging life (forgive my scarcasim) I will allow you to promote it here for others to consider.

Yes, I agree. Blogging for money or for business can be a long learning curve, but once you survive the Dip (Seth Godin), I believe can and will succeed.

While it is most recommended to build a Wordpress Blog hosted on your own domain,
I have to say that I have recently done it and it is certainly a learning curve for any
beginner. I have in fact used a paid service to guide me step by step and it was still
a long and curvy process. Moreover, I have encountered some technical issues which
frustrated a non-techie like myself.

I was then grateful to find out about this service: http://bit.ly/2HxXDD
Not only is it superb for a non-techie, it is also a great solution for any Pro
who would like to get ahead while saving a ton of time.

I am using it now to build a new blog and I highly recommend it!

Hope his helps...

To answer this question, one would have to have experiences with different blogging platforms. I've looked into 3 different blogging platforms: Typepad, Wordpress and Blogger. I particularly like Wordpress because it's easy to use and has a ton of 3rd party developers who are constantly building plugins that make building a blogsite easy for a newbie like me! I have a selfhosted blogsite and I am currently running 16 plugins on one of my sites. But if you are looking at the free solutions, I found this link useful: http://pulsed.blogspot.com/2007/07/blogger-word...

I think though, it sometimes depends on what you start with. I started with Wordpress and I'm comfortable with it and since I'm comfortable with it, I do not see a reason to change, at least not now. Jemce the reason why I believe Wordpress is a better blogging platform among the 4 that I mentioned.
